| Personal data | None today. Playing needs no sign-up, e-mail or phone number. An optional wallet sign-in for purchases is planned; it will only use your public wallet address, and this policy will be updated before it launches. |

| Cover art | To show box art, the app downloads images from the public libretro thumbnail server (thumbnails.libretro.com). That server can see your IP address and the names of the covers requested. |
| Settings check | At startup the app downloads a small settings file from emulator.2cstudio.app (hosted on Cloudflare). It lets 2C Studio withdraw a system if legally required. The server sees your IP address; nothing about you or your games is sent. |
| Permissions | Storage access to the folder you pick, notifications (for running games in the background), optional microphone (only for games that use it), internet (cover art and the settings check). |
